New Zealand: Auckland - Sheraton Auckland
Hotel & Towers
TravelPage.com Rating:
While there is nothing historic or overly luxurious about this hotel, it
is located centrally in Auckland and the staff is very friendly and the service
is great. Auckland harbor is a short walk down the hill and a number of
interesting restaurants and pubs are also located close by.
There are a total of 422 rooms some of which have a
great view of the city, especially those in the tower (although you pay for the
view). There is very nice rooftop swimming pool and exercise area. There is
also a business center and meeting facilities are available. There are 3
restaurants and 3 bars and the staff speaks a wide variety of languages. When
in Auckland, make sure you take a tour of the harbor and the islands.
Room prices range from around $150 per night to well over $300 depending
on season and location. Amex, Diners Club, Visa accepted.
